Helpful resources and support in the Verde Valley

We want you and your family to have the information you need to raise a healthy child from the very beginning. Take a look at the resources and support we offer you and your family before, during and after your child’s arrival.

Healthy Families Program

Healthy Families, based in the Verde Valley, helps families become self-sufficient; encourages strong parent-child relationships; refers families to community resources; and helps paremts understand health, safety and developmental needs.

This free home visitation program begins working with families just before or shortly after a baby is born, and continues through age five. It offers families vital information on prenatal nutrition, immunizations, parenting and baby care – and later, focuses on on literacy and school readiness.
