Steve Eiss

Mr. Eiss joined Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) as the vice President of construction & real estate development in February 2021. His role focuses on real estate and the built environment for the system; this includes construction, facilities engineering, emergency/disaster preparedness, PMO and licensure. Mr. Eiss joined NAH from Banner Health Solutions where he served as the executive director of development & construction. During his 15 years there, he led multiple large-scale health care developments including the nearly billion-dollar investment that Banner made to develop its academic medical centers in Phoenix and Tucson, along with various outpatient facilities, data center and corporate office projects. His focus has been on large-scale integrated project delivery methods utilizing team resources to help drive ongoing operational efficiencies, energy reduction, schedule efficiencies and quality construction outcomes. Mr. Eiss earned his bachelor’s in architectural science from Arizona State University and did coursework in real estate development through the W.P. Carey School of Business.
