Omar Wani, MD
Bio
Omar Wani, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist at Northern Arizona Healthcare, where he serves as adult inpatient medicine department chair on Flagstaff Medical Center’s Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Wani, who has been practicing medicine since 1999, believes positive lifestyle changes are critical to comprehensive cardiovascular care. He also believes the best doctors are honest with their patients and passionate about improving health and helping people heal. Dr. Wani works closely with patients during each step of their health journey.
Dr. Wani earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Government Medical College Srinagar in India. He also completed a residency, fellowship and internship at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in addition to an externship at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary in Doncaster, England.
