Liuslina A. Sooter, OTR/L, CHT, CPAM, is an occupational therapist with EntireCare Rehab & Sports Medicine Experts at Verde Valley Medical Center.
Expertise and Special Interests
As an occupational therapist, Liuslina has worked in different settings including Acute, Sub Acute Rehab, outpatient clinics and school programs, before specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation for different dysfunctions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hands for both orthopedic and neurological conditions. Liuslina also has experience with both inpatient and outpatient rehab for people with traumatic brain injury, helping them integrate back into the community.
Education and Certification
In 1998 Liuslina graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from Velez College, Cebu, Philippines. She is certified in hand therapy having completed the requirements of more than five years of direct upper extremity treatments and passing the Board Certification. She also is certified in physical agents modalities (CPAM) for safe and effective use of adjunct therapy modalities in treating upper extremity dysfunctions.
