Bio

Keith Hutchinson, MD, is a board-certified critical care physician at Northern Arizona Healthcare, where he serves as secretary/treasurer of Flagstaff Medical Center’s Medical Executive Committee. He has been with Flagstaff Medical Center since 2015 and Verde Valley Medical Center since 2017. In addition to providing direct patient care, Dr. Hutchinson serves as medical director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at both hospitals where he has held the position since July of 2023. He was awarded the 2024 Nate Avery Physician of the Year Award, which honors physicians who both excel at patient care and serve as engaged members of the community.

Dr. Hutchinson earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where he completed a residency in internal medicine in addition to a critical care fellowship. He also received an undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Dr. Hutchinson proudly calls Flagstaff home, where he enjoys the great outdoors with his wife and three dogs.
