
Heather Gleason
Bio
Heather Gleason, CHCIO, is Northern Arizona Healthcare’s (NAH) chief information officer. She joined NAH in September of 2024, bringing extensive experience in health care and information technology (IT).
Before joining NAH, Heather served as senior director of IT at University Health in Kansas City, MO, where she spent a decade developing and leading clinical and administrative information systems. Her efforts supported the organization’s overall operations and earned her multiple recognitions, including the CHIME Most Wired Award, for leveraging IT to improve patient safety, health outcomes and data analytics.
Heather also served as director of information systems, applications and regional operations at Billings Clinic in Montana, where she managed a multi-million-dollar operating budget and contributed to the heath care center’s strategic goals. Earlier in her career, she held management roles at Cerner Corporation and the National Kidney Foundation.
Heather holds a master’s degree in computer information systems from Regis University in Denver and a bachelor’s degree in resource management from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
