Dennis Reed, MD
Bio
Dennis Reed, MD, is a board-certified physician with Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Center for Women. Dr. Reed is based in Cottonwood, where he serves as secretary and treasurer on Verde Valley Medical Center’s Medical Executive Committee. He is also the medical director of the obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) division of surgery. Dr. Reed is an expert in laparoscopic procedures and infertility. He treats patients with abnormal pap smears and educates them on how to prevent cervical cancer. Dr. Reed believes it’s important to offer calming reassurance when providing care, and knows when humor is appropriate.
Dr. Reed earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio, where he also completed his OB-GYN residency at Bethesda Hospital. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in Ohio, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
