Expertise and Special Interests
Brittany Thorpe, MS, RD, is a full-time clinical registered dietitian nutritionist with Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Weight Management Clinic. She educates and helps patients implement the lifelong nutritional adjustments required after gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy surgery. As part of the interdisciplinary care team, she provides excellent patient care within Flagstaff Medical Center’s inpatient units.
Education and Certification
Brittany earned her bachelor’s of degree with Distinction in movement science from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., and her master’s degree in human nutrition, foods, exercise and dietetics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Va. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
