It’s understandable if your child feels nervous about coming to stay with us, whether it’s for one night, one week or longer. However, you and your family will be spending a lot of time here, too. The more you and your child know about what to expect during your visit, the less anxiety you’re likely to feel.
Staying with your child around the clock
As a partner in your child’s care, you’re encouraged to stay at the hospital throughout his or her visit. Your child will feel more comfortable having you close by at all times – and you’ll feel more confident in caring for your child after you return home.
In addition, we bring intensive care directly to our pediatric patients without having to move them to different beds. This helps them heal faster with fewer disruptions.
