The Flagstaff City Council has approved NAH’s rezoning request for Phase 1 of 98 acres near Fort Tuthill County Park, which includes a new hospital, ambulatory (or outpatient) care center, parking and open space. The project will feature hospital-based health care, outpatient surgery, imaging, rehabilitation and clinic spaces all on one site, providing improved, more fully integrated care for patients. This phase is now awaiting approval from Flagstaff voters in a referendum process. Ballots will be mailed to registered voters in October, with the election taking place on Nov. 7.
NAH is committed to delivering high-quality health care close to home for the patients and communities we have the honor to serve. For more than 50 years, NAH has focused on improving health and healing people. This new hospital is necessary in order to expand health care services so it can ensure that NAH can best serve the growing communities throughout northern Arizona.
