In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Northern Arizona Healthcare Medical Group (NAHMG) in Sedona and Cottonwood will be offering $85 mammograms, including 3D digital screening and reading fee, throughout the month of October.
Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare recommend women 40 and older have annual mammograms and continue to do so at the advice of their physician. Early detection is the most effective and efficient tool to identify treatment options and increase long-term survival rates.
“Breast Cancer Awareness Month is about educating the public about this disease, and the first step in taking care of one’s health is through preventative measures, including annual mammograms,” said Deborah Lindquist, MD, of Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare. “There are important steps that women can take to control their breast cancer risk, including knowing the signs of breast cancer and how to detect them, plus learning what changes you can make in your lifestyle to lower your breast cancer risk and improve your overall health. We hope women will take advantage of this special we are offering for mammograms in October,” Dr. Lindquist added.
At NAHMG, board-certified physicians and other clinical staff are committed to treating patients like family while providing exceptional medical care.
