Northern Arizona Healthcare celebrates every colleague who invests time and care in the amazing lactation program at Flagstaff Medical Center! The program has been awarded the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners’, or IBLCE, Care Award.
IBLCE establishes the highest standards in lactation and breastfeeding care worldwide and certifies organizations and individuals who meet their criteria. This award means our lactation program demonstrates FMC provides training for nursing, medical and other staff who care for breastfeeding families; and have implemented special projects that promote, protect and support breastfeeding and the lactation consultant profession.
FMC will be included in the IBCLC Care Directory for two years.
