Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) today announced that Joseph Lach, MD, and Richard Lloyd, DO, have joined the NAH Medical Group (NAHMG) as new primary care physicians in Sedona. They are both accepting patients now. NAHMG services are designed to improve health by providing individuals and their families with integrated care close to home.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Lach and Dr. Lloyd to our primary care practice in Sedona,” said NAHMG President Pasquale Bernardi, MD. “At NAH, we are committed to delivering high-quality health care, including primary care services, to our patients and the communities we serve. And I’m confident Dr. Lach and Dr. Lloyd will help us better serve our patients in Sedona and the Verde Valley,” Dr. Bernardi added.
Dr. Lach, who has over 30 years of experience in health care, is an internal medicine physician focused on serving his patients in a primary care capacity. The spectrum of primary care that he covers includes the simple aches and pains of life, as well as more complex issues, such as hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, and preventative medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Lloyd has over 20 years of health care experience with a background in osteopathic medicine. Osteopathic medicine provides all of the benefits of modern medicine, including prescription drugs, surgery and the use of technology to diagnose disease and evaluate injury. Dr. Lloyd is board certified by the Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Lach earned his medical degree from The Ohio University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Lloyd earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Mich.
