NAH welcomes new providers to Flagstaff Pulmonary Clinic 

Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced that Yu Ya Huang, MD, and Hamish Patel, DO, have joined NAH’s Pulmonary Clinic in Flagstaff. Dr. Huang and Dr. Patel, who have over 34 years’ experience in the medical field combined, are both critical care medicine specialists who focus on pulmonary issues.  

Dr. Huang and Dr. Patel join an experienced pulmonary clinic team who offer a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures designed to treat and care for respiratory disorders, including obstructive pulmonary diseases. Since opening the new clinic in 2023 NAH has welcomed Michael Reidy, MD, Aaron Jaffe, MD, and Khawaja Rahman, MD, to serve northern Arizona residents.

The addition of these specialized providers will build on our commitment of providing exceptional care close to home and help individuals maintain good health,” Dr. Bernardi added. 

Dr. Huang received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Saba University School of Medicine, located on Saba, a special municipality of the Netherlands in the Caribbean. He completed an internship in general surgery, a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary disease at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He is board certified in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. 

Dr. Patel received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He completed an internship and a residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, Florida, an affiliate of the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. 

NAH’s pulmonary clinic is accepting new patients now by calling 928-773-2200. The clinic is located at 1215 N. Beaver Street, Suite 203 in Flagstaff. Patient referrals can be faxed to 928-773-2300. If a patient is currently receiving pulmonology care and wishes to transition to NAH’s Pulmonary Clinic, patients should request their records be sent to the NAH clinic prior to their scheduled appointment.
