Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) announced that David Van De Wyngaerd, MD, has joined the Orthopedic and Spine Institute (OSI) in Cottonwood at Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC). Dr. Van De Wyngaerd is an orthopedic surgeon and his patient focus will include orthopedic traumas, accessing care through the emergency department, as well as walk-in traumas through the Ortho NOW clinic.
“We are very excited to have the talents of Dr. Van De Wyngaerde joining the already very strong team of OSI orthopedic providers, including Dr. Duggan, Corey Sonnett and Dan Dudziak at VVMC,” said Matt Kraemer, administrator for the NAH Orthopedic and Spine Institute. “The addition of his skills will allow for more of the Verde Valley residents to stay close to home as they receive the very best in orthopedic care.”
Dr. Van De Wyngaerde earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Van De Wyngaerde is an excellent addition to the high-performing Orthopedic and Spine Institute team. By joining the team, he will enable more trauma coverage and case completion at VVMC. This will ensure that residents of Verde Valley can remain in their communities to receive the best orthopedic care. NAH has been prioritizing efforts in recruiting new providers in northern Arizona and will be introducing additional providers as part of its commitment to delivering exceptional care for the communities it serves.
