On Wednesday, March 28, nearly 100 NAH colleagues and community members met at the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare in Flagstaff to create new rock gardens for both NAH Cancer Centers. Participants, including students from Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy and Northland Preparatory Academy, as well as the Pediatric Advisory Board, painted between 150 and 200 rocks with images and inspirational messages and placed them in the garden for anyone who needs their spirits lifted.
There are more rocks in back of the Cancer Center if you would like to take one – or several – home to paint.
The event was covered by The Lumberjack, Northern Arizona University’s newspaper. Read the article here.
