Q: What is your motivation for practicing medicine?
A: I’m motivated by a desire to help people achieve their personal best. I consider myself an educator first, and it is my goal to give people the tools needed to optimize their own health.
Q: Tell us about your specialty
A: I have a strong education specializing in caring for adult patients with complex medical histories. I am about to take my licensing board, after which I will be certified in internal medicine.
Q: What do patients tell you they appreciate about you?
A: My patients have described me as empathetic, warm and caring. I make it a priority to ensure my patients are heard and that they know all their concerns have been addressed.
Q: What are some of your achievements or recognitions?
A: I was chief resident for Verde Valley Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency program.
Q: Why did you choose to relocate here?
A: I practiced in this community during my three years as a resident physician at VVMC. I decided to stay in the Verde Valley after my residency graduation because I love the people here and I want to help make an impact on the health of this community.
