Cardiovascular research at Northern Arizona Healthcare

Our clinical cardiovascular research program, developed in 2006, has a state-inspected and approved research center based at Northern Arizona Healthcare’s Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, but our studies are held at multiple sites throughout the world. Studies focus on heart disease; heart attacks; peripheral arterial disease, or PAD; high blood pressure; cholesterol management; and diabetes. This work often involves teaming up with universities such as Harvard, Duke and Oxford; the National Institutes of Health; and other institutions on the cutting edge of research.
