Guardian Air Flight Paramedic
Education:
- High school diploma or GED – required
Certification & Licensures:
- Arizona certification as a Certified Emergency Paramedic, or EMCT-P – required
- BLS, ACLS & PALS (American Heart Association) – required
- National Registry Paramedic – required within six months of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or NRP – required within six months of hire
- S.T.A.B.L.E. course completion – required within one year of hire
- Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course, or TPATC – required within one year of hire
- Advanced Certified Flight Paramedic, or FP-C – required within 24 months of hire
- Valid driver’s license and a 39-month Motor Vehicle Record, or MVR, from the appropriate Department of Transportation – required
Experience:
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a paramedic – required
- Previous flight experience – preferred
Physical Requirements/Physical Agility Test:
- Maintain flight duty weight of less than 225lbs
- Able to lift 75 pounds safely from floor to table and back to floor
- Able to walk two miles in under 30 minutes
Guardian Air Flight RN
Education:
- Associates Degree in Nursing – required
- If hired after July 1, 2016, you must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program and complete the degree within 5 years of hire.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – preferred
Certification & Licensures:
- Current Arizona RN license – required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) – required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or NRP – required within six months of hire
- Advanced education in area of expertise with one of the following certifications required within 24 months of hire.
- Certified Registered Nurse, or RNC
- Certified Emergency Nurse, or CEN
- Certified Flight Registered Nurse, or CFRN
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse, or CCRN
- Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course, or TPATC; or Advanced Trauma for Nurses, or ATCN course – required within one year of hire
- S.T.A.B.L.E. course – required within one year of hire
- Practitioners or clinicians must be state or national organization certified
- Current driver’s license in the state in which employee resides with no moving violations within prior 39 months – required
Experience:
- Three years of critical care experience (combination of emergency, intensive care unit or high risk labor and delivery) – required
- Previous experience in more than one specialty area – preferred

Communication Specialist
Education:
- High school diploma or GED – required
Certification & Licensures:
- Current National Association of Air Medical Communications Specialist Certification, or NAACS– required within 2 years of hire
- BLS (American Heart Association) – preferred
Experience:
- EMS/Medical background – preferred
- Dispatching experience – preferred
