The American Cancer Society recommends that men turning 50 talk to their healthcare provider about the risks and benefits of prostate cancer screenings. Aside from skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American men. It’s never too early for peace of mind.
In recognition of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, free prostate cancer screenings are being offered in September. Screening includes blood draw for prostate-specific antigen, or PSA, test and physical exam by a physician.
