Cardiac Dysrhythmia Analysis Level 1 – Basic ECG Interpretation

This program is designed to prepare the health care professional, who is working in an environment with cardiac monitoring to interpret cardiac rhythms.

It is also an ideal preparation class for the health care provider taking ACLS for the first time. The class is taken in two 8-hour days.

The course utilizes lecture, rhythm labs and handouts covering the following topics:

  • Cardiac A & P
  • Electrophysiology
  • Rhythm Analysis
  • Sinus Rhythms
  • Junctional Rhythms
  • Ventricular Rhythms
  • Wide QRS Tachycardias
  • Atrial Rhythms
  • Premature & Escape Beats
  • Narrow QRS tachycardia
  • Atrioventricular Blocks
  • Introduction to Bundle Branch Blocks
  • Introduction to Pacemakers

Location

At Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC), the courses will be held in the Northern Arizona Healthcare Training Center, located at the west end of Fort Valley Shopping Center, 1000 N. Humphreys, Suite 241-242.

In Cottonwood, the courses will be held in the Courtyard Plaza on the east side of Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC), 300 S. Willard St., Ste 102.

Registrants will receive a copy of “Pocket Guide for ECGs Made Easy, 6th Edition” by Barbara Aehlert.”

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are available less a $40.00 administration fee. No refund is issued if cancellation occurs within five business days of the course.
