2023 Flagstaff Festival of Science

Join NAH Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Flagstaff Festival of Science. Learn about microbes and infection prevention, see how technology is used in modern surgery with the da Vinci Robot and get an up close and personal experience with Guardian Air and Medical Transport’s helicopters and ambulances.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Wheeler Park: Walk through the NAH tent and learn about microbes and infection prevention.
1 – 4 p.m. in FMCs Sechrist parking lot:
- Intuitive’s Da Vinci Xi© robot performs state-of-the-art robotic surgery. Come see the robot, learn about the device and try it for yourself.
- Explore the lifesaving world of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Climb aboard real helicopters and ambulances and meet local first responders at this outdoor event! Interact with Northern Arizona Healthcare’s emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics and nurses and learn how they deliver precise, effective care in emergency situations.
