What to expect

  • You will be evaluated by a triage nurse when you arrive at the ED.
  • Triage is not a case of first-come, first-served. More urgent cases will always have priority. Triage is the preliminary assessment of patients to determine the urgency of their need for treatment and what medical treatment is needed.
