Healthcare Professionals and Hospital Week, one of the nation’s largest healthcare events, is a celebration of the history, technology and dedicated professionals who make hospitals and health systems beacons of confidence and care in the community. The week provides an amazing opportunity to thank all of the dedicated individuals – physicians, nurses, therapists, engineers, food service workers, volunteers, administrators and so many more – for their contributions to the health of those we serve.

This year, Northern Arizona Healthcare has aligned our Healthcare Professionals and Hospital Week celebration around our new Values: Be better together, Show compassion, Respect differences, Build community, and Do amazing work! Colleagues from across NAH’s campuses will demonstrate how they live these values – each on a different day of the week – and model them to others.

The celebrations kicked off with the Mason Awards (nurse and tech awards) at Flagstaff Medical Center on Friday, May 10, and will include nurse and tech awards at Verde Valley Medical Center on Monday, May 13. The week will conclude with a celebration of how NAH colleagues “Respect differences” in the workplace and in the community.
