Spine and Joint Replacement Surgery Pre-Op Class (Flagstaff)

Spine and Joint Replacement Surgery Pre-Op Class (Flagstaff)

FMC's spine and joint replacement surgeons highly recommend this class to better prepare patients and their families for upcoming surgery.

Patients are strongly encouraged to bring a friend or family member who will be their "coach" during the recovery process. Participants should review the Patient Education Guidebook they received from their surgeons or during the pre-admissions appointment before the class. Beverages will be served. This free class provides an opportunity to ask questions about the surgery and covers the following topics:

  • How to prepare for surgery
  • An overview of the hospital and patient experience
  • A guided tour of the Spine and Joint Surgery Center

Patients who are not able to attend the in-person seminar should review the respective guidebook and online video below before arriving at FMC for their surgeries.
